Each kit includes everything needed to create your own heirloom doll:

How big are the dolls?

We currently offer two heirloom doll sizes:

Large Doll – Approximately 20 inches tall

Small Doll – Approximately 14 inches tall (Heirloom Collection)

Both sizes feature the same heirloom-inspired design and handcrafted details.

Do I need sewing experience?

No. Our kits are designed for beginners and experienced makers alike. Detailed instructions are included to guide you through each step.

Are the dolls already finished?

No. Crafted Together kits are DIY (Do-It-Yourself) projects. Creating the doll is part of the experience and joy of the kit.

Are the heads already attached?

Yes. The doll head comes fully stuffed and already attached to the body, so you don't have to worry about creating or shaping the head yourself.
Each kit also includes the base layer of yarn hair already attached to the head, giving you a beautiful foundation to work with. You will then add the included hairstyle pieces to complete your doll's look.
We prepare the head for you because it is often the most difficult and time-consuming part of doll making. This allows you to focus on the fun and rewarding process of bringing your doll to life.

How long does it take to complete a doll?

Most customers complete their doll over a weekend, but you can work at your own pace and enjoy the creative process.

Will my doll look exactly like the photos?

Yes. We carefully prepare each kit to match the doll shown in the product photos, including the fabric style, hair design, clothing, and overall appearance. Because each doll is handmade by you, small variations in stuffing, stitching, and assembly may occur, making every finished doll uniquely yours while still closely resembling the doll pictured.

Will the fabric be exactly the same as shown?

We do our best to use the fabrics shown in our photos. However, fabric availability can occasionally change. If a fabric becomes unavailable, we may substitute it with a similar high-quality fabric that closely matches the original style, color, and theme.

Can I choose a hair color?

Yes. The style you see is what you will get in your kit, but you can choose your hair color.

All dolls include our signature thick braid crown, which is part of the doll's design and creates the finished heirloom look shown in our photos.

Are these dolls toys?

Our dolls are designed as keepsakes, heirlooms, and handmade treasures. While they are soft and cuddly, they are best enjoyed as special handmade creations.

Do you offer gift options?

Yes. Our doll kits make wonderful gifts for birthdays, holidays, Mother's Day, baby showers, and anyone who enjoys crafting.

When will my order ship?

Each Crafted Together doll kit is carefully prepared by hand. Please allow 1–2 weeks for processing before your order ships.

Many orders ship sooner, but this timeframe allows us to carefully prepare each kit and ensure everything is included before it leaves our studio.

General Care

Handle gently to preserve the doll's appearance.

Display away from direct sunlight to prevent fabric fading.

Keep away from moisture and excessive humidity.

Cleaning

Spot clean only using a soft, damp cloth.

Do not machine wash or submerge in water.

Do not use bleach or harsh cleaning products.

Hair Care

Gently arrange yarn hair with your fingers.

Avoid brushing or pulling on braids and buns.

Decorative hair pieces should be handled carefully.

Storage

Store in a clean, dry location.

Keep away from pets and sharp objects.

For long-term storage, place the doll in a breathable fabric bag or box.
